Tom and I walked over to 300 East for dinner last night. It's our neighborhood go-to restaurant...delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. 300 East was featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives" on the Food Network a while back. It's that good. ☺
Three Good Things:
1. I'll be picking up granddaughter Harper after school this afternoon for a Friday night sleepover
2. French onion soup...300 East style...with crusty homemade French bread croutons and lots of Gruyère cheese
3. iPhone cameras
This place is so welcoming Peggy. I always love the design of architecture in your area, those lovely columns are so gracious. It all sounds the perfect place to eat. Have a great weekend! We have a grandaughter staying over the weekend too....aren't we lucky? I have the fire on, a cottage pie in the oven for her poor throat & flannelette sheets on the bed. A weekend of old & new films & snuggling up.
What a beautiful place and it has great food. Definitely a winning combo. As Pat mentioned in her post the architecture in your area is a photographers dream. Enjoy your sleepover with Harper.
