Taking a poinsettia along with a couple of small gifts to my former neighbor, now residing in an assisted living community. Her memory has been failing a bit so I'm not sure she'll remember who I am, but hopefully it will brighten her Christmas a little bit.

3. A notice from Amazon that 'Your juicer has shipped'. I burned out the motor on the ancient juicer at the Soup Kitchen on Monday when juicing a crate of lemons...dozens and dozens and dozens of lemons. Hated breaking something on my first day, but I wasn't surprised that the motor called it quits. Thought that replacing it would be the right thing to do...it makes me feel better anyway. :)
