Lots of Windows...

at the corner of Trade & Tryon Street.
Trade Street was a Native American trading path and Tryon Street was once known as the Great Wagon Road/Trail. The intersection forms what is now known as Independence Square in the heart of uptown Charlotte. There are four huge bronze statues, one on each corner, representing the city's past and future. The mother and child statue, seen in the left corner, depicts the potential for Charlotte's future.
(Using the photo word of the day, 'Windows', for today's post).

Three Good Things:
1. An amazing 73°F/23°C day in February
2. Beautiful tuna steaks to grill for dinner
3. Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime show
I love to hear the history behind the modern development. Saw a bit of Lady Gaga must have been fantastic to see her full performance
