I was serving table seven at the soup kitchen today. These folks are burdened with all kinds of issues including poverty, homelessness, addiction, and/or unemployment. But today the focus was on a different issue. The man on the right asked the other diners at table seven if they would mind holding hands for a moment of prayer. They agreed to hold hands as he offered short and poignant prayer 'to stop the hate'. I was moved beyond words.
Three Good Things:
1. The honor of serving table seven today
2. Good people
3. Knowing there are more good than evil people in the world
