The Twelfth Day Of Christmas by peggysirk

The Twelfth Day Of Christmas

I took down the Christmas tree and wreaths today and packed away all of the holiday decorations. The only Christmasy thing remaining is a poinsettia...which served as my photo for today because it's too darn cold to go out and find something better to photograph. :)

Three Good Things:
1. Leonardo da Vinci (I'm reading the excellent new biography by Walter Isaacson)
2. Warm socks
3. Friendly neighbors
Wow, that’s vibrant! I do love a nice poinsettia 😊

Love your 3GT specially the sock one! Poinsettias are a great Chrustmas plant. My DIL usually sends me one but this year a Christmas wreath with a red candle came, it's been lovely but the plant was nicer I think. You are having terrible weather I think, in NY anyway, the news feeds here are full of it! We make a fuss when it's two inches deep!

Great texture in this photo Peggy. I guess you wouldn't like it up here right now. today we are getting the tale end of the bomb cyclone and its freezing and snowing. Probably the worst day of winter so far. The temperature is -36degrees C. This is why my photos are inside now too lol

@suesmith - I bumped up the vibrance a bit. In 'real life' it's a bit more muted red...but still big and beautiful.
@happypat - we are in the midst of a miserable cold snap, Pat. No snow, just frigid temps. Haven't been above the freezing mark in close to a week, Currently 14F/-10C. @dora - How do you survive?!!! My nose is getting frostbite just thinking about your current weather conditions!!!

@peggysirk you just do. You pick and choose when you have to go out and then just do it.
