The volunteer gang at the soup kitchen singing Happy Birthday to a fellow volunteer celebrating her day in the mountains with her husband - whose birthday is also today.
Three Good Things:
1. The 'Lasagna Love' group delivered 25 huge pans of homemade lasagna for lunch today. All we had to do was make salad and garlic bread, and pack it up. A wonderfully easy morning.
2. The Latta Park work committee has received 12 dogwood trees, 12 redbuds, 5 American hazelnuts, and 10 blackhaw viburnums to plant in the park. I see some digging in my future.
3. Shrimp and grits for dinner tonight
