Mahonia Shrub by peggysirk

Mahonia Shrub

Also known as Oregon Grape Holly, this shrub produces unique and unusual grape-like berry clusters. The berries were used medicinally by Native Americans to treat ailments from indigestion, fever, jaundice, and arthritis to tuberculosis. And birds are crazy about these berries when they're fully ripe and soft.
