I don't know the story behind the disappearance of the East Blvd giraffes that an architect had designed for his front yard. There's a new tree planted close to where the giraffes once stood. And just when I was getting accustomed to the funky giraffes.
Three Good Things:
1. The Charlotte Water Department installed a new water meter today and absolved our $9,000 water bill. ☺
2. The Atlanta Braves won game two of the NLCS last night.
3. 190 lunches of vegetable soup, salad, and garlic bread served at the soup kitchen today
Thank goodness the water problem is solved Peggy! That must have been an ongoing worry! Water meters etc can cause some problems. I love these giraffes, sounds like he’s been told to move them….a tree is no comparison! 😀
