I do a double take every time I walk by this house with the fox sculpture on the porch. It looks so real from a distance. And we do have some foxes in the neighborhood. Their infrequent pre-dawn screeches are chilling. It's good that so much wildlife has managed to adapt to an urban environment. We have deer, coyotes, possums, racoons, hawks, owls - animals I wouldn't expect within sight of skyscrapers.
Three Good Things:
1. Chicken cacciatore and garden salad served for lunch at the soup kitchen
2. Clothes with pockets
3. Getting a stain out
Too funny! I heard their half human, half demon screaming one night & it freaked me out so bad I took the dog & went in the house. Did some googling and came to the conclusion if was a red fox. I hope you can get a picture of a real one some day! :)
@bluemoon I can relate - the first time I heard a fox screaming I grabbed my phone and rushed out the front door ready to call 911. I was certain someone was being assaulted or murdered.
