I was cleaning up limbs, branches, and debris from yesterday's storms and found the Japanese mahonia behind the back fence was in bloom.
Three Good Things:
1. Plants that bloom in winter
2. We didn't lose power during the storms
3. A great new journal with stone paper made with calcium carbonate - an alternative to traditional paper made from trees.
