Continuing to fill gaps in the middle of May. The evening before that day we saw a beaver's house on a side of the lake and a couple of freshly felt trees nearby, so I decided to try and ambush them the day after. But then I made a couple of newbie mistakes and the beaver saw me way before I could take any more or less good picture of him.
But as a consolation prize I got a very impressive show. Obviously the beaver didn't like me sitting next to his trees, so he tried to scare and banish me. He was swimming back and forth in several meters from me and constantly splashing water with his tail. Unfortunately I couldn't see it till the end as the weather started to change rapidly, so I had to head my boat back home.
But even though the pictures I got weren't very good, this was still a great piece of luck cause everybody I met the day before had told me that beavers there are extremely timid and that I would hardly see any.
