I guess everyone would be bored by three sea pictures in a row, so, even though I once again spent major part of my day on a shore, I decided not to shoot it and go for something else. This accidentally got me to the monthly theme.
As it was all about changing perspectives, I thought, what is the most stupid thing you could possibly do as a photographer? After a couple of very wild ideas, such as climbing to a cliff and throwing my camera away to the ocean (and then probably trying to find it to see if there's anything left on a memory card), it got me to the idea of shooting some landscape at direct sunlight. But, sure, that wasn't stupid enough. At the end of the day, we all do it. Often. So, I thought, what if you don't just shoot at direct sunlight, what if you shoot the sun at direct sunlight in the middle of the day – is that stupid enough to try?
So, this is how I end up with the picture. I don't have a laptop here, so I don't know how it looks like at a big screen, but on my phone it looks kind of spectacular.
I must say this is probably the last time in a couple of months, when I have a strong connection. Tomorrow we're finally heading up to the wilderness, where as far as I know there are only a couple of places with a lousy satellite internet, located dozens of miles away from each other. I believe, I still should be able to post a few pictures once in a while (probably even tomorrow – who knows?), but if I couldn't it would only mean that I am somewhere out of modern technology.
