While I am trying (mostly with no success) to somehow deal with twenty thousand pictures from last two months, one of my older photos got to «The Most Beautiful Country» exhibition of Russian Geographical Society (the one on the upper left I'm looking at).
It was taken this winter, just a month before I started my 365 project, during a ski trip in Ural mountains. I wouldn't even compare it to our Kamchatka adventures, but it was still very impressive and wasn't, of course, a piece of cake (I almost froze off a couple of fingers). And in terms of pictures it was very productive: even though the absolute majority of the time we were walking in the middle of snowy nowhere from god knows where to somewhere else unknown, then had a couple of hours to take photos before going back the same way, one of those pictures got to the Russian version of National Geographic and another one – to this exhibition. Sure, none of these is a very big deal. But considering that this is only the second time in my life my photo got exhibited, I guess it's still pretty cool.
