This is the first time I'm going to cheat at my 365 project. Not only because I didn't really like any of pictures I took the day before yesterday, but also because I really want to show you this spider.
I don't know what it's called, if it's dangerous or if its' poison is paralyzing. All I know is that in combination with the bear attack I told you about a couple of days ago, it mesmerized me completely for almost an hour.
I can hardly remember what was happening during that time, but at the end I've got a several dozens of pictures of this spider.
I called him (or was it her?) «Mymra», which is a Russian word for a hag (you can also use it for a grumbling, rude or intriguing woman or just someone you don't really like). It's not a bad word and it's actually a little more funny than it is insulting. I wasn't specially thinking of it, it just came up as is from nowhere.
«Oh, what a Mymra!», – was the first thought that popped into my mind when I saw it. I hope she (or was it he?) didn't mind.
now I must tell you that I often have people from the other side of the world say to me - in Australia it is scary because you have so many spiders and even snakes, how can you go outside and not be afraid? I say to them, well at least we don't have bears that can rip you limb from limb! I'm happy outrunning spiders thanks very much.
