Wildflowers- not weeds. Just because you don't want it where it bloomed does not mean it's any less a flower than something that's planted. (o: Very pretty!
Incredible fine detail! Why do some flowers get the name weed...what is the difference between this lovely flower & one that you grow in the garden...it’s odd!
If you think it is beautiful (and this one really is very beautiful) and if you would encourage it to grow in your garden then by my definition it isn't a weed! I have a whole garden full of flowers that I wouldn't class as weeds but most people would! I can't photograph them a well as this unfortunately! Fav
Definition of a weed: any plant growing where you don't want it to, ie. that petunia in the onion patch or wherever it was. This looks like Hawkweed. They grow in my lawn and I'm fine with that. The bees and other pollinators love them especially this time of year when there's not much else around. Nice detail on this shot.
