My friend bought me this jar and I used to allow myself to put £1 coin per day in it. Since Covid I don't use cash anywhere near as often so haven't given this jar any thought for years. I always use cash at independent cafes, charity shops and car boot sales. I decided using these pound coins for this would be a wise move!
Well done. Years ago I decided to put every $5 note I got in a container, I did it for ages the totally forgot about it. I got such a peasant surprise when I was packing up to move house.
