We saw this lovely ginger cat on our early morning walk today. He was eating the buds high up in the tree. I don't think Jinks even noticed him.
I took several shots and cropped some to get a closer view of the cat but finally preferred this one just as it was taken as I liked the space and blue sky and framework of branches behind him.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
I've seen cats up trees before but not in the thin supple branches. The ginger and blue colours dont work for me yet with the tree there is a connection that does work. The cat seems oblivious to the attention also.
@tishpics@doblaine The fire engine wasn't necessary as he climbed down on his own - but only after his family, who had been standing under the tree calling him, had moved off! A friend has since suggested to me that he might have been licking sticky sap off the buds.
