'pencils' (word for today): a message to my 365 friends
In the past week and a bit, I've received 4 notifications that photos of mine were featured on the PP: one was obviously so fleeting that I missed it; a couple were on together for a short time, first time ever for me. So thank you to everyone for views, comments and favs which put them there. Although I regard my 365 page primarily as my photojournal and thoroughly enjoy all the 'conversation' which attaches to that, it's also really gratifying to have one's photographic efforts appreciated.

Rachel, thank you but as I said the photojournal aspect is the most rewarding part of 365 - at least I think so. Today's word just gave me an opportunity to thank all my friends as it's impossible to write individual replies to each and every one.
It does give you a jolt of pride when you get a photo on PP so well done Hazel....good job we are told by our friends as it's easy to miss the great event!! Love this photo today...very inventive!!
If you have a pic on the PP it will have 'featured on the popular page' just underneath where 'edit photo' is written. Much better to be notified than to have to rely on somebody else or yourself seeing it!
This is a very creative capture and really nice. It always makes me feel really pleased when I get a pic on PP. That's what so nice about belonging to this site, it really makes you feel appreciated. Well done

Ferry, thank you and yes, be proud for a day and then move on - that's life! I just took the shot of the pencils on the paper and then used Ribbet (free and online) - one of their effects, think it's the heart flare but not sure. some quite creative stuff on their site. Thanks to Ray of course for buying me the nice pencils with erasers.
