I took this photo in the grounds of Lacock Abbey earlier in the month and I'm glad I saved it to post as we have just had rain and grey skies here for the last two days. So this rose is a bit of cheer, albeit getting slightly 'frayed around the edges'!
Our little stream at the bottom of the back garden is bubbling merrily away today with the extra water which has flowed down from the fields where it has its source. Looking forward to lunch out with friends later.
So lovely to look at this gorgeous rose, I feel as if I could almost smell the scent. PS With Christmas nearly here, I am getting a bit frayed around the edges at the moment as well! LOL!
It may well be that, Beryl, no label on the bush.
Don't be frayed - just chill out! Easy for me to talk as we have the most low-key Christmas possible!
