How good to find my yesterday's 'along the prom' shot on PP this morning so here's some mistletoe in a heart to say thank you and wish you all a great festive break!
I like to have mistletoe at Christmas: although it's poisonous and rather a 'cuckoo' it also has mystical associations. I saw this 'boule de gui' hanging on this tree in a street in Cheltenham.
Lovely Hazel!! Happy holidays to you and Ray and your son and daughter, lots of delicious goodies to eat and drink and a nice fat stocking on Christmas morning!!
p.s. Perhaps I should explain (but still see my post tomorrow) that I've had a laptop and THREE cameras this year (but probably going to sell one of the latter....)
Caught bot of a programme on TV last night and they mentioned mistletoe - didn't realise just how much damage it can do to a tree; actually grows into the branches.
A very beautiful pic. greatly processed .A lovely thank you. . In our country it`s tradition you can kiss a girl when she have mistletoe above her. Nice tradition.
Congrats to the PP.
Congrats on the PP Hazel. This is a fun shot, I didn't realise mistletoe had mystical associations, but I suppose it makes sense. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Hehe - see my post tomorrow! And the same to you too!
p.s. Perhaps I should explain (but still see my post tomorrow) that I've had a laptop and THREE cameras this year (but probably going to sell one of the latter....)
And to you and yours, Sian!

I didn't know that either - it has such romantic mystical conotations but of course, it is a parasite.
Congrats to the PP.
Thank you for your comments, Ferry. For mistletoe, it's the same tradition here - but I think it applies to men as well!!!!!!
