Today we visited the exhibition of Lord Lichfield's celebrity portraits. No photos of his photos allowed of course but the last stop before you leave is a chance to use some props to create your own portrait. Of course I failed to resist and handed my camera to Ray. I realise now that I should have exchanged my anorak for the beautiful purple cloak which was also in the props box......
The exhibition runs until 21st April at Mottisfont Abbey, Hampshire.
p.s. the title was Ray's idea.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Have now read the full comment - and will be off to Mottisford Abbey asap - and to the uninitiated the anorak could be a velvet cloak because the eye is drawn to your eyes through the pink of the mask.
near Romsey, Hants in Mottisfont Abbey which is a National Trust property - I don't know where you are but if you come you should let me know and maybe we can meet somewhere.
First I was thinking you`ve visit carnival in Venice . But you`ve bring Venice to Wales. Now you`re/looks like that beautiful mysterious woman at the ballroom (from the movie.)
You never fail to deliver Hazel, in front of or behind the camera, what a fun shot. You see, are surrounded by & participate in such interesting, historic & beautiful, places, gatherings & objects, I applaud your ability & strength of character to see, appreciate, capture & share. Thank you.
What a shame I couldn't have brought that mask home! I tried a different coloured one too - but I really liked the pink!! Thank you for your encouraging comments. (I think Ray is getting to be a bit embarrassed to go out with me!!!)
Haha, Tracey - I'm not bold enough to put this on the wall - on 365, yes, on the wall, no!!!!
