A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
This is really beautiful Hazel, so soft and pretty. I have been trying to get a pic like this of our kerria for a couple of weeks but couldn't seem to get a good one. Fav.
Paula. thank you, sometimes you just get lucky! I just took two shots. But a week or so ago I just could not capture another kerria - always white shine on the petals!
Beautiful - was only looking at mine this morning --it's in full bloom and thought I should take a shot at it ---- you beat me to it !! but still shall have a go --it's rather a dull day here today -- a bit "dead" for a photo !!
Chris, thank you! (Shall we be thinking about another photo-shoot soon?)

With friendly greetings from Russia, Alexey.
Just gives us something to think about!!!!!!
It obviously likes getting 'through'!
It's quite hard to shoot in the sun as you get white shine on the petals - I think you should try today!!!
so you still have this to look forward to!
think it was you, Margaret, who started me looking for kerria!
Yes it was me Hazel, we have a beauty in our garden, I've persuaded hubby not to chop it down and it's done really well this year.
At last our kerria is just coming into flower.
Quite possibly, Dawn - you have the advantage of me!
