A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
@quietpurplehaze thank you Hazel for that very much appreciated hope you and Ray and Jinks are all well Anne and I are going up to London this afternoon as Anne's Brother back In March bought for Annes birthday gift a London sight seeing tour of various History we are going on a Jack the Ripper Tour that starts at 5:30pm and the tour is two and a half hour s I believe the meet point is at Aldgate Station. Hence why I am on 365 this time of Day.
Gerry, thanks for doing the fav and I hope you both have a lovely time on the tour in London. Look forward to seeing your photos. I really hope we can all meet up again. We have a week's holiday second week in June. How about if I email you after that to see if we can find a date convenient to all of us? Please say hello to Anne!
heheheh it kind of looks a bit uncomfortable for the swan!!! He just must be quite flexible :) It's a great close up - the swans usually run away from me when I try to get close!!
Super capture, love black swans. Do I like the border, would it have been better black? - to match the swan - and maybe a clean cutout, not the fizzy edge for this one. Hope that's OK, Hazel, love the image. Don't they have wonderful red beaks?! Seen them at Benbow Pond nr Midhurst.
Just experimenting with some frames on FastStone - maybe black would have defined the swan more but it (the swan) is quite grey in places - maybe an old black swan!!
Very beautiful composition and capture. Sorry I`ve to be brief. Yesterday I did a shopping in Amsterdam, hurt my typing hand, and have so many beautiful pic.`s to comment.
Gerry, thanks - you didn't do the fav?! Many many congrats to you on top place in TT with that beautiful squirrel shot - I've been showing everyone!!!
Pete, thanks - I know how to clone now so got rid of most of the shadow on the swan's beak. I'm feeling proud!!!

Well that's equally possible of course, Beryl! Enjoy your weekend and hope you get some sun.

I thought fizzy was quite nice!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry about your hand - two words is enough for me!
I guess that was an old message on your part - I'm all behind too!
