Not sure why the Scottish Independence Referendum needed to be held on his birthday.
Is the storm raging here a portent of what's to come? (Jinks is hiding as far into the corner under my desk here as he can possibly get.)
Shall we need our passports next time we visit Clare in Glasgow?
The birthday meal tonight will be Gressisngham duck breasts cooked by Neil and accompanied by a bottle of something really special from his wine rack. I'm making a cheesecake.
And Ray has lots of spring bulbs from the garden centre to plant - well I think that's what gardeners like doing - planting things.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Happy Birthday Ray......sounds like a lovely meal planned for tonight...enjoy all of you!
As for today's voting , I hope they choose wisely.....lots not going to be happy bunnies tomorrow. I feel trouble brewing whatever!
Happy Birthday Ray enjoy your day and special meal. We are enjoying a beautiful day here today and not having your weather as yet. A brilliant capture of cyclamens lovely colours.
The colours and dof are great. Hope Ray enjoys his birthday. The Scottish referendum is pretty exciting, I think. If I were Scottish and lived in Scotland I think I'd vote yes, but as I'm not and I don't, I really hope they vote no!
Like Alice in wonderland are we in the garden centre.
Many congratulations to Ray , to you , to Clare and Jinks to Ray`s birthday .
(To morrow we know if she`ll be a foreigner in her own country. )
When I have my birthday you can fix cheesecake for me too!! I LOVE it!!!! Love these flowers and all their colors too!! Will know soon won't we, if Scotland will stand alone? We were told midnight EST. I will be watching the news to see!! Happy birthday to Ray!!
Oh my - gorgeous rich colors here! I'm very interested to hear how the Scottish Independence Referendum comes out. Will make a change in the world if it passes. Wishing Ray a Very Happy Birthday!!!
As for today's voting , I hope they choose wisely.....lots not going to be happy bunnies tomorrow. I feel trouble brewing whatever!
I agree that whatever happens, the outcome is going to be divisive, especially if it's as close as predicted.
Me neither!!
You are very honest, Molly!
The day turned out OK but the storm made everything a bit late - guess what didn't get done - yes, the ironing!
Many congratulations to Ray , to you , to Clare and Jinks to Ray`s birthday .
(To morrow we know if she`ll be a foreigner in her own country. )
Cheesecake is my favourite pudding too!
