The second frost of the winter here in Hampshire this morning, quite a sharp one with many white surfaces, ice in the bird bath, and misty trees in the distance. When the sun came up it was as if a light had been switched on.
Beautiful bright blue sky now and we even saw a great tit on the bird feeder for the first time this morning.
My shot has nothing to do with this really, except that it's bright!

Thanks, Susan - it's a 'frame' on FastStone, a free piece of processing software. I just made sure the rose shot was cropped tight first.
After 12 years of holding a camera the 'wrong' way I'm having to work hard at remembering but it gives so much more stability!
Got halfway around the Christmas decorations at Hinton Ampner today and thought 'Ooops!'
