Anthony Gormley's statue Sound II in Winchester Cathedral was fashioned in lead from a cast of his own body. On this visit I found the flood water had all but receded.
I had to take this in b&w as I found some bright lights had been installed behind the viewing platform and they gave a yellow cast to all the photos I took in colour.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
A very striking photo Hazel......you don't often catch an Anthony Gormley statue with is legs showing.......I like him in the water best but this is very near perfect! I like his bent head.
It works so well in b&w! It is a lovely image and the reflections from the flood really add to the beauty. The arches, textures and lighting are all amazing. FAV
