A shot from my frosty archive today: hydrangea flowers in the first frost late last month. My photo mojo is still intact but a bit stretched this grey and wet weather!
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
A beautifully bright and beautiful frosty shot on this dark dank morning ! I love this and the framing really enhances it !! A FAV for me ! Which editing do you use Hazel? My mojo is rather weak at the moment -- its the struggle to find suitable ideas within the home !!
What a gorgeous shot, Hazel. I love the colors and frost around the edges. Very cool framing too. It went from a bit cloudy and windy to sunny and cool to cloudy and rain today. We almost covered all types of weather except for warm. So happy to have the rain. FAV for your photo.
Beryl, have a look at FastStone, free to download from the internet with just a small voluntary donation (say £5) requested. It's good, need to find your way around it but not difficult.
There's nothing Greg about this shot. The petals look like they are sugar coated. I'll gladly swap you a cold wet day for 40 degree heat with stifling humidity!
Beautiful shot Hazel, lovel colours and delicate frost. I love your comment 'photo mojo still intact but a bit stretched' - that's such a good description of how I'm feeling too (and a few others from what I can gather).
I think we are all struggling at the moment Hazel.......the grey weather & for us women it's a busy time...too much to do & I am going out & doing more things with having a visitor. Beautiful sort of pink candy look!
Lovely photo of these hydrangea! We have had lots of miserable weather here too! I would rather have snow that the rain that we have been getting! It's getting to me too!

Yes, it does seem to be a definite 'thread' on here right now - I'm sure we'll all get out of t!
Kate, I know I wouldn't do too well with that heat and humidity - I'll quit moaning now!
It's not really cold here. We've only had 3 or 4 frosty mornings so far - I'd prefer that and sun to the grey days!
