On my trip to the zoo yesterday, the penguins seemed to be the spectators!
I was trying out the s/c in-camera option on my Sony. But in the time lag between my eye-brain-shutterfinger the penguin with the coloured armband which fitted the selective colour must have moved position slightly. Can your 365 eyes see the tiny bit of colour?
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
I`ve seen the movie : march of the penguins , lately . Love to see them into the wild. Nice capture nevertheless as those are beautiful animals.
the pic. I`ve made in a nice cooperation with Ina. The plants are only temporarily here . A shelter for the winter.
Are you talking about the red? I hope it's red...could be orange, I'm color blind so don't know for sure. Anyway, I do see it!! They are so cute and what a great POV!! Wonder what they are thinking about all the people looking at them? FAV!
Cool shot, Claire. I saw the bit of red right away though on my 24" desktop so I see a lot of detail. I love Penguins. What a lot of them all together. FAV
Yes, red, you got it, Kathy. I know what I was thinking about the annoying schoolchildren next to me jumping about and banging on things to make the penguins rush into the water. Where were the teachers?! Thank you for comment and fav.
We saw that film too and liked it very much. Yes, we have some hydrangea cuttings in the utility as they were dying outdoors. I like to have plants near the computer to soak up the pollution - it's good for them apparently but not for us!
@quietpurplehaze Hazel, my desktop is rectangular. I love it and always use it for 365 as I can see so much. Plus so nice to be able to have my photos here as well as I can see close up. I realize that some people use their tablets or phones to see photos today so I try not to post photos that are too small to see. I am having problems with iPhoto and emailing and may have too many photos on my computer. I back up my entire computer to make sure all stays safe just in case. My son will be checking it out next week for me. You will love seeing things larger, Hazel.
Funnily enough we had penguins (choc ones) with our tea at the photo group this week!
Yes, I like it but the Sony only does red whereas the Fuji X20 does the colours of the rainbow - some more effectively than others.

Darlene is you 24" desktop a square or rectangular format? How do you find it for 365? (I'm thinking of buying a large monitor to link to my laptop.)

Thank you, Darlene for all the info. Yes, I back up too on to memory sticks regularly - just photos as that's all I use my laptop for.
