This patient horse was in the field next to The Dog Room, where I took Jinks to have a haircut. I only took one shot of him as he was spooked by the camera.
Jinks, on the other hand, the toe-rag, was totally sociable when the dog groomer's 8 dogs crowded round him (5 labs, a jack russell, a spaniel and a doberman) although normally he mostly barks at other dogs on our walks.
And the reason I took him to be trimmed is that when I try to do it myself he growls ferociously at me - but, yes, you've guessed it, he was on best behaviour (well, nearly!) for the dog groomer.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Looks like Murphy could use a good grooming himself!! My Waddles does the same thing whenever we go to the Vet. I tell him to get a muzzle and he always says "What for, she's such a good little dog" I always ask if he knows who he is talking about!! LOve the picture of Murphy but he doesn't look too happy, someone should give him some green beer! LOL FAV!
Ah he's cute! i look after two ponies and they are both very cheeky... lovely face on Murphy and yes Kathy he does look like he needs a good groom! my ponies are brown and white. i have two little dogs who both hate going to the vets and bark and growl at all the other dogs, while the other dogs that are bigger than them stay really quiet... and stay still like they are some kind of monsters! fav!
I always feel sad for horses though Hazel, when they stand in a cold damp field :(
Naughty Jinks :)
