When I visit Winchester Cathedral, I always go down to the Crypt for another view of Sound II. The 'landscape' is always slightly different: the light varies and so does the amount of flooding. This time the ground was almost dry, except for an obliging puddle around the sculpture's feet.
I'd like to be able to make Jinks aware that his 'chrysanthemum face' shot of yesterday is today on PP, thank you everyone - but think he's more interested in why we haven't got out on the walk yet!
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Jinks should be honoured, it's darn hard to get on the PP these days, I haven't managed that for months! Anthony Gormley's feet are almost always in the water at Crosby!
Kathy, thanks. That would be strange, wouldn't it, if, wherever he is at the time, Antony Gormley himself got cold wet feet every time the crypt floor flooded under his statue?!!
We've been! And it was cold! And now he doesn't want to go out in the garden for his midday pee!!
Well you are right, Joyce, of course - he usually does!
Kim, I'll give him a pat from you (he's snoring away here, post half a lunchtime bonio!).
Congrats to Jinks!
( and I see a face ) Do n`t tell Jinks. He will walk beside his ???.
Kathy, thanks. That would be strange, wouldn't it, if, wherever he is at the time, Antony Gormley himself got cold wet feet every time the crypt floor flooded under his statue?!!
If you come to Winchester you must say as we are only about 7 miles away and there would be tea and cake chez nous!
