Our friend, Sylv, took Ray, Neil and myself out to Banks Bar Bistro for a meal to celebrate her 80th birthday.

Everything was just lovely. Especially photogenic was my blackberry pavlova: home-made meringue, whipped cream, ice-cream - and blackberries.
