I've had some fabulous poinsettia plants. Some have lasted several months and one made it almost to the end of the next year.
Never got one to show this brilliant colour again although I do know how to do it - seems a lot of work when you can buy such specimens in the supermarket.
Jinkswalk next, then a swim, then I have a more or less free day - Neil is cooking tonight - so might go to Winchester in search of strangers. A 365ers' life - well, OK, of course I do know that lots of folk on here still have a working day.

I just mean that I always buy a poinsettia in November. Nothing to do with that big 'X' word - in fact I have no objection to being called Mrs Scrooge - the 'retail fest' has begun already here in the south!!
