b&w reflections: No. 5: wiggly ones

The River Itchen runs near here but this is not it. These are the floods of Feb 2014 in Winchester and this is usually the car park.
This is delightful so many mini stories going on! As well as great reflections. Thought you'd used a vignette but realise the composition made this shape naturally.

@pennystot

Yes, you are right and the shape was not as evident in the colour version.

Lovely reflections, you have captured a bleak day so well. Hope the floods subsided soon and glad there were no cars in the carpark before the water rose.

This is a really good b&w image. The reflections are just lovely. Nice circular sense with the way youve edited.

To much water has one good thing, you can take beautiful captures.

@wag864

Kas, thank you. The circular shape is just the composition of the photo and I didn't really notice it until I converted to b&w!

@phil_howcroft

This is proving an interesting exercise for me and I have learnt 1) how much I am drawn to reflections, especially in water and 2) b&w sets off those reflections pretty well. Thanks, as ever, for all your comments and helpful critique, Phil.
