"All the light we cannot see"

When I took this shot at Lee-on-Solent, it reminded me of the book title, recommended by a 365 friend/follower.

I put the book, by Antony Doerr, on my Christmas wish list and received it from Neil.

I think it's a gem of a book, beautifully written and with an absorbing story line.

Hope the person who recommended it is reading this - if so, thank you and I'll be seeking out more of this author's work.

I read that book ages ago Hazel & it stayed with me so must be a goodun! There is a film out on DVD in Morrisons or anywhere, I saw it yesterday. This is so lovely & can just imagine what it's like to fly!

Rectified now as I have just finished it and do not feel too bereft as I have already bought another of Antony Doerr's to read. I hope it will be as good!
