A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Thanks, Phil. Happy Anniversary to you two - perhaps I should have saved this photo for ours in August. It was shot with the very low end of the 55-210mm long zoom lens. I just treated myself to a new lens (all my Christmases and birthdays for a few years in one, most expensive I've ever bought). It's the Sony 18-105mm f4 PZ and I hope it will be a mid-range lens to keep on the camera when I'm out and about. Summer cashback on Sony lenses now and I traded in my Fuji X20.
@quietpurplehaze just googled your lens haze. Gets great reviews. Looks quite big in the pics. Now I understand the "all your birthday and Christmas pressies in one!!!!" . It is quite a priceπ. It has took a pin sharp shot here , which I assume was by a novice photographer... Ellie π.
I have my eye on the 50mm prime so I can do my street strangers "dslr free" ( but I love my dslr too , so maybe a 50mm prime is a little extravagant ) .
Yes, Ellie took the shot after I set it up - and bossed her about - (I jest, I think!) I've only just got the new lens - this photo of us was taken with the 55-210mm lens. I only just got the new one, still trying it out, it is rather imposing on the camera. So far the 50mm prime lens is my fav - looking to see what this new one does for portraits & hoping it will be versatile. I have 5 lenses for the a6000 now so that is definitely full stop!
