witches' hats

Another slow walk around the lawn with Jinks in the last few days revealed that fungi had sprung up near the stump of a contorted willow which Ray had cut down.

I remember taking a photo of fungi here a few years ago.

The contorted willow will surely regrow as it has already done so twice.

Day 3 sans Jinks. The house is rather quiet.
These are gorgeous.I imagine that the house is rather quiet without your little friend.

I can imagine how yourvhouse will be Hazel, no welcoming tail wagging. How we miss them! We would like another Labrador but not so good when we go away for a month at a time! Great title for these fungi.

@happypat

Still having my moments... Jinks was such a character - going to post one or two old shots of him - not too many to bore everyone!
