the oak tree in winter

Took my camera over the fields yesterday. It was a bright, breezy, sunny, cold day and very muddy.

This oak tree always seems to make a statement, in summer or winter.

Oaks in Winter make me feel that they all have interesting tales to tell. Convoluted, complex, heartwarming and wholly unknown to other tree species. IMHO.
