lady hares by quietpurplehaze

lady hares

The magnolia tells that I took this photo of Sophie Ryder's dancing hares in Salisbury Cathedral grounds one spring. There were more hares inside the cathedral.

I've converted the shot for this month's challenge: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/31004/flash-of-red-february-2018-begins-in-4-days - not too late to join in and thanks again to Ann @olivetreeann for all her hard work.

I am pleased to devote my 365 page wholeheartedly to b&w for this month. In previous years I've put the b&w in my second album and carried on with colour in my main album - for fear of getting withdrawal symptoms.
We have some of her work in Cheltenham town centre. It is extraordinary stuff!!

When I saw this I hoped they were back there again, was it really two years ago? That was one amazing exhibition!
February 4th, 2018
@megpicatilly The exhibition was in the Cathedral grounds two years ago - sadly only temporary so no longer there but if you google the artist, Sophie Ryder, you will find she exhibits quite a lot. These sculptures are huge by the way!

As Helen explains they are not there now - I'll look out one or two more to see if they fit into Flash of Red February. @dorsethelen
