chien méchant

When does a chien méchant become an ex-chien méchant? Cannot say really as although Jinks lived to be nearly 15, he possibly could still have been classed as one.

Well maybe not exactly méchant - perhaps more spirited or mischievous.

After 5 months, he is still missed.

Thanks for your comments about Jinks, much appreciated. At first I felt I had to have another dog but now I know Jinks was irreplaceable and getting another is not easy: we do not want a puppy, and rescue dogs come with a host of problems which I do not feel like addressing. So maybe I'll call my camera Fido!
