I took my camera over the fields and as soon as this little dog spotted me having a sit down he made a beeline for me.
However he stopped short of coming right up to me and went round the back of the seat, me keeping a wary eye on him in case he was going to use one the of the uprights for a doggy activity.
His owner came up and after a chat Roger (the dog) sat nicely to have his photo taken.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Thank you everybody for your interest in my portrait of Roger. I was so taken with him that I omitted to ask his owner to be in my portrait project, even forgot to ask his name! He told me they had Roger as a puppy from a local rescue and that it was hard work as he had a few issues. I think they did a great job bringing him up to be such a star!
@quietpurplehaze Exactly how we feel Hazel, so tying then it would problem out live us, a young dog would be hard work but I might not bond with an older dog & it's lovely having a house with no hairs!!
I do want another dog, Pat. But I think it would not be practical for various reasons.
