Ray had his follow-up appointment for his pacemaker today: it's working well, actually working 'on demand' which means it will last a minimum of 11 years.
He told me about a 95 year old gentleman who, when advised by the doctor that his pacemaker would last for 10 years, asked 'You will send me a reminder, won't you?'
Ray is now back to rambling, hospital car driving and swimming his usual 70 lengths.

I am running a little behind Hazel and don't expect a response but am just so pleased that everything is working as it should and life is getting back to normality for you. Love the story!
