all alone

We had a little trip to Hinton Ampner today and, for the first time, found the scarecrow in the walled garden minus his little dog.

The scarecrow himself had undergone a minor refurbishment from the sorry scruffy state he was in last time, notably new red lipstick.

So maybe the dog is being spruced up too. Time will tell!

Perhaps the forget-me-nots carry a secret message.........
