UFO? by radiogirl

UFO?

This futuristic design could almost have been designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. In fact this is a core crusher used in mining back in the 20's and 30's. It could crush a 3 metre rock and break it down into 6 inch pieces. What caught my attention were the contrasting shapes and lines and how the lighting affected each.

I really like this - how different we've learned to look at things and see things we'd never have noticed before 365 (at least for me). Love the light and shadows and fascinating lines.

I really like how the bolts in the top portion float in high-key lighting. Excellent object for creating an abstract image.
