Ontario Northland

The caboose has mostly disappeared from the end of our trains, which is why I composed it more as a reflection than as the actual car. Hopefully it doesn't disappear entirely in the near future.

Thank you for your comments and favs from yesterdays photo Up Close and Personal!
What a great idea Kathy, the reflection looks great, no idea how you did it.
Wonderful shot! Still looks cold.

Great idea to make the reflection the main subject. Nicely composed picture.

Very creative as a reflection. I think a caboose finishes a train but I guess it doesn't serve much purpose these days.

interesting composition. No more cabooses down this way for years now.

Very cool design of the reflection in what water is there and then the lack of reflection!

The slight blur imparts a sense of motion that I like. As an Island Girl you might be more at home on Vancouver Island where we were a sunny 22C today and any snow only lasts a day or two. 8-)

Oh, love your composition, focussing on the reflections. *Pause whilst the English girl googles caboose* Oh, wow - I don't think I've seen one since I moved out here....maybe they're already disappeared from my part of Ontario....or I'm just really unobservant!
