Freight Dock by radiogirl

Freight Dock

This old pier on Lake Superior was used until the 70's to transport ore by large freighters. All that remains now are the posts. Depending on the angle they can provide many interesting patterns in the water.

Thank you for your comments and favs on my photo yesterday of the Seagulls in Flight.
Fantastic photos Kathy.

Another Island Girl Fav for me! The rocks on the side create perfect framing, the focus is wonderful throughout the whole image, the eyes are drawn right out to the end of the old dock, and the imagination takes over from there.
