Heading South

The Canada Geese are still around, they better head south because they are forecasting snow!!

I Love seeing them fly over...by the thousands sometimes. One morning they were flying North....and a loan goose was bringing up the rear just honking and honking. Must have been the "tour director" Pretty soon they all turned around and started flying South...some confusion going on....but they all seem to be back on course now. Such a beautiful capture and I just love seeing them!

I like the minimalism of this one, something that's perfect for this time of year when it seems nature gets plain and simple for the most part. Great comp, with some of the birds partly out of the frame at the bottom.
