A statue in Jacumin Plaza, a small green space in downtown Valdese NC. The plaza has a small bandstand, a mural on the walls that surround it on 3 sides that describes the history of this town and the Waldenses immigration to Valdese to obtain religious freedom, and these statues. The girl is in Waldensian dress. They hold bread (a bakery was started in the town) and Bibles in their hands.
Great shot of this beautiful and lovely statue.

The statues are very sweet and it sounds like a really nice place to go to a concert. Good shot.
