I like your note on the birdfeeder. did the birds stay away? actually
I wanted to mention to you that I also have pussy willow branches
in a vase. I guess going on five years by now. they're without water
and not one has wilted or fallen off. did you water them all the time?
@grammyn During the pandemic I've spent a fair amount of time watching the birds at these feeders. They all go "home" before dusk so the feeder just closes up for the day. @jaio Thank you. @kjarn Opened back up this morning. @wakelys Open again this morning. @pusspup Yes. I keep it filled with sunflower seeds. The sun was going down and all the birds had left for the day when I took this, so like a restaurant or store I put the sign on the door that it was closed. @mccarth1 Thank you. @jb030958 thanks Jennie. @ziggy77 Thank you Jo. @bkbinthecity thanks Brian. @craftymeg This is really a fairly good representation of the color. I tried to make it a bit more barn-red but it ended up being much like how it really is. Back open this AM when the birds came back out. @haskar Thank you @bruni The birds had all gone to roost for the night when I took this, so that was what the sign was about. They were back again today. re: pussy willows. I don't know if Mom kept them watered for awhile but they've been without water for years now. The branches are a bit brittle and can break but most are still intact. This is a close up of some them: http://365project.org/randystreat/365/2018-10-09 @olivetreeann Only "closed" over night. They were back this morning. @pyrrhula Haha! Didn't have enough room on the sign. It opened up again this morning. @farmreporter Thanks Wendy. @joemuli Thank you. @thewatersphotos It's been a good feeder. I've had it for years. You can see how I had to tie the hanger on with nylon twine on the left side of the photo.
@mcsiegle Thanks Mary. I spent a lot of time out in the sunroom today and watched them the whole time. @jb030958 I'm just so darned talented. 🤣😆 @will_wooderson thanks Will. @cocobella Only at night and they don't need one 'cause their home in their birdy beds.
