I love this view of your life. You are so industrious. Does that beautiful cup hold your thread scraps? What do you do with them. I put mine outside for the birds to make nests with.
@Dawn Thank you Dawn. It's the best place in the house during the day to do needlecrafts. The light at the top of that brass pole makes it a good place after dark too. @onewing Not many actual gifts (most are money or gift cards) go out from here. I've always liked to gift people with hand made items, but few are deemed worthy of the time and effort. But they are the ones who are thought about the most. @pusspup Thanks Wylie. Well, it's amazing how life gets in the way of crafting. I usually had to mail gifts so that meant they needed to be ready to go around Thanksgiving (the end-ish of November) so they would get to folks in time. It also means I get to enjoy stores closer to Christmas without worrying that I'll be able to get what I need. @30pics4jackiesdiamond It's perfect for those with less than perfect eyesight. @wakelys It really is for items that one really needs to see. Sometimes a bit bright for other things. This is where I usually play pigs. @casablanca Thank you. You can see my sky high weed garden in this photo. @grammyn No more industrious than you Katy. You just do different sorts of things. Yes the cup does have thread scraps. I hadn't thought to put them out for birds. May find a place to do that when i'm finished. @johnfalconer Not work for money but the kind of work one does when retired that brings joy to life. @rensala Thank you Renee. I try to do these things for people who will enjoy the items. Most of my family members do not want this sort of thing.
@corinnec Thanks Corinne. It is very pleasant to sit there and work or read or dream. @ziggy77 Thank you on both counts Jo. @craftymeg I think I remember when you had a nice glaston room added to the back of your house. I'll bet it's very much like this room. It's pleasant to work on projects for other people. You think about them the whole time. Thank you Meg. @olivetreeann It has put me to sleep Ann. Thank you. @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @tunia You are right. A sunbeam puts a smile on your face and keeps you warm. In my case it also helps me to see better.
@haskar I guess we'll mutually admire each other. I would love to be one trumping through the woods like you do. Instead I sit home and stitch. Thank you Hannah.

Itβs certainly not about money. I understand completely
