A look at the xylophone like instrument at a local Guatemalan coffee shop and restaurant. I've only heard the owner play it once. It's a beautiful musical instrument though.
@illinilass I've heard somebody play with it (as opposed to play it) once. I guess they used it for special events. It did sound good with nice ringing tones. @jamibann Too noisy in there for any music. People were in and out (including of all people the building inspectors) because they were getting ready for a two day festival that started that night. My group was a bit noisy as well. But the coffee was good (as always). @kjarn Yes it would, although I've never really heard any music played on it. @wakelys Thanks. Just happened to be sitting right beside it. @grammyn Thank you. I wish I could tell you more, but I'm not sure if the business owner made it or not. @craftymeg Thanks so much. I was sitting right there and couldn't resist. @rensala Thank you. @beverley365 Yes it's lovelier than it looks in this photo.
